Part of the Drifting Tides Collection

On an early summer morning in Pawleys Island, South Carolina, I found myself on a solitary beach walk. The serenity of those moments, with the cool ocean breeze and the calls of sandpipers, was unparalleled.

As I ventured over the dunes, the sun cast a shimmer on the gentle waves, revealing an unexpected marvel. The receding high tide had sculpted intricate patterns and tidal pools in the sand, unlike anything I had seen before.

With the knowledge that time was of the essence as tourists and the tide would soon erase this beautiful scene, I quickly readied my camera. Every shot was taken with care, ensuring my own footprints didn't mar the patterns. My aim was not just to capture the visual splendor, but the profound tranquility and otherworldly peace I felt that day.

Drifting Tides is more than a collection of photographs; it's an invitation to experience that same serenity. Whether it's the stillness of the tidal pools, the artful ripples, or the texture of the sand, each piece hopes to bring a touch of that tranquil morning into your home.
